Experience a weekend full of community, intoxicating dances, enchanting locations, dance and cultural workshops with international teachers, and concerts with important musicians. We are creating a space for everyone who wants to experience Forró in all its qualities!🤩
We want to offer a great experience for everyone and want everyone to learn as much as possible.
Crashcourse: You have never danced Forró or another partner dance before.
Beginners (Advanced): This level is suitable for you if you are currently taking or have completed a beginner's course but have not yet taken a follow-up course. You should know the Forró basic steps (if not, we have a crash course for you).
Intermediate: You have a good connection at multiple points of contact like legs, hips, and upper body. You know, among other cool things, a five-step turn (turn on the line), a Giro Paulista (turn in place), Caminhada, and Caminhada com Trava (or Trava).
Advanced: You are a Forró expert and know the entire A-Z repertoire! Push and Pull, Cadenas, 7+ step turns, and Dark Side are familiar to you.
Open-Level: Regardless of your prior knowledge, this workshop is ideal for solidifying your basics or discovering new techniques. We will dive together into Brazilian culture and the origins of Forró, giving you valuable insights for your dance.
Outside of the workshops, all dancers are welcome to dance together, regardless of their technique or experience!
